Keith Morrison
Keith has worn several professional hats. He proudly served as a clerk with the Royal Canadian Navy for 9 years, he taught in the public school system for 5 years, and has worked off and on in the arts and history fields since he was in his teens. Keith is a graduate of Cape Breton University and Memorial University and is currently completing a University Certificate in Public Administration.
A lifelong community volunteer, Keith has been a member of several boards and committees throughout the province such as The Bus Stop Theatre Cooperative, Eastern Front Theatre, Theatre Nova Scotia, The Cape Breton Filmmakers Association, Nova Scotia Youth Advisory Council, and Nova Scotia Voluntary Planning Committees. He is an active member of the Eastern Passage – Cow Bay Lions Club. Keith has also volunteered his time as a member of many event planning committees.
In recent years, Keith has become actively involved in Nova Scotia’s Para Sport community and is a passionate advocate for Accessibility and Inclusion. He is also a keen supporter of youth, senior, and veteran causes and programming.
A true people person, Keith is honoured to be the NDP Candidate for Dartmouth—Cole Harbour. He is excited to be a part of the team that is committed to solving the housing crisis, fixing health care, protecting the environment, and removing the economic and social barriers that keep all Canadians from reaching our full potential and living our best lives.
Keith lives in Eastern Passage with his wife Rebecca and their four young children.
